Bruce Dowling

Bruce Dowling was born and educated in Malta, and spent the majority of his life working as a self-employed retailer, with up-market shops of womenswear and menswear. After working in local retail for several years, Bruce made the decision to move to London in 1975 to fulfil his dream of setting up his own retail boutique in Richmond, Surrey, London.
During these years, he spent his time exploring the retail and fashion scene in London, and taking inspiration and knowledge from his surroundings. Years later, Bruce returned to Malta and continued retailing in the island’s capital city, Valletta.
In 2008, Bruce made the decision to retire from retail at the age of 60, and venture into the Maltese property sector, specialising in commercial property. For the past 15 years Bruce has dedicated himself to the real estate industry gaining extensive knowledge of the local property market and picking up numerous awards for his commitment and dedication to the profession along the way.
Now as part of the Malta Sotheby’s International Realty team, Bruce aims to continue his dedication to his clients searching for commercial and rental properties whilst understanding that the relationship between realtor and client must be symbiotic in order to meet client expectations.
