The project is nearing Phase 1 completion, with the launch of Malta’s first lagoon district comprising Grade A office space, retail options, SmartCity lagoon with choreographed fountains and water promenade, and auditorium. The development will be fully completed by 2021.

Shoreline at Smart City
The Shoreline is a newly proposed extension of the existing Smart City lifestyle development with over 400 residencies planned featuring some luxurious seafront villas, spacious apartments, and penthouses many of which will have breathtaking sea views as well as an underlying retail shopping mall, communal swimming pools, and residents car parking facilities. Proposed adjacent works include a branch of Sapienza Universita de Roma, a state of the art hospital, 300 room 5-star Marriott hotel, and a hospitality campus to cater for 2,500 students. Proposed infrastructure projects such an under sea direct route linking Sliema to Valletta and beyond to the Three Cities will aid in accessibility.
